President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko noted that the work of Russian senators makes a significant contribution to the consolidation of Russian society, which is of particular importance during the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. “Your active stance contributes to enhancing productive Belarusian-Russian cooperation and expanding interregional ties,” the message reads.
National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasised that the peoples of the two countries have been linked by ties of friendship and mutual respect for many years. He expressed satisfaction with the joint efforts aimed at enhancing cooperation. “I am confident that active engagement between the parliaments of our two countries will continue to promote the further development of Turkmen-Russian cooperation,” his message said.
Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People’s Republic of China Zhao Leji reaffirmed his commitment to steadily strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries and to continuously enriching the content of the China-Russia comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation.
In their messages, Speaker of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Natalia Kochanova, Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbayev, and Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Marlen Mamataliev highlighted the dynamic and productive development of relations with Russia and the role of interparliamentary cooperation in expanding and deepening bilateral ties.
