The Federation Council, with support from the United Russia party, organised humanitarian supplies of timber to Donetsk and Lugansk.

On 14 June, the first truck convoy with timber from the Tver Region arrived in the Donetsk People’s Republic for rebuilding efforts. On the same day, a batch of materials was shipped out from the Novgorod Region. The Russian Emergencies Ministry is providing operational support.

Delivery of humanitarian cargo in the amount of over 3.2 thousand cubic metres is being organised from the Arkhangelsk, Novgorod, Vologda and Tver regions. It is being supervised by the Council for the Development of the Forest Complex of the Russian Federation at the Federation Council.
