Vladimir Dzhabarov: Armenian MPs interested in interaction with their Russian colleagues

The Senator commented on the meetings with his colleagues from the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

First Deputy Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs Vladimir Dzhabarov held a teleconference with the Armenian media. The conference was dedicated to the Armenian National Assembly delegation’s visit to Russia.

The Senator noted that Armenian MPs expressed interest in interaction with their Russian colleagues.

“The new President of the Armenian National Assembly has recently made his first visit to Russia. He took office about a month ago. The Armenian delegation accompanied him during his visit to the Federation Council. Participants in the meetings and talks at the upper chamber of the Russian Parliament suggested developing closer interaction, both on international platforms and in interregional cooperation,” Vladimir Dzhabarov said.

“We also discussed working arrangements for the agreements we have. In addition, we outlined preliminary plans for the Interparliamentary Commission on Cooperation and decided to resume its activity. I hope that our agreements will transform into working plans,” Vladimir Dzhabarov said.
